

Parmalat in brief
The new Parmalat, the only Italian truly public company, was born on October 6, 2005 with the listing on the Italian Stock Exchange. The Parmalat Group is also one of the few large multinational Italian food companies and one of the major players worldwide in the production and distribution of food and beverages essential for daily well-being: milk, dairy products (yoghurts, cream-based sauces, desserts and cheeses) and fruit-based beverages, which in 2009 generated revenues for about 4 billion euros.
About 14,000 employees work for Parmalat in Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australia. The Group is present in 16 core countries with offices and manufacturing facilities and in 10 countries through licensees.
Parmalat, that has a strong innovative tradition, develops high added-value products to improve nutrition of its consumers all over the world in the fresh sector, UHT milk and Extended Shelf Life milk.
Our global brands are Parmalat for milk and dairy and Santàl for fruit juice-based beverages. Fibresse, Omega3, Physical, Vaalia and Zymil are international brands dedicated to high added-value functional products, while local brands are relevant where they are present: the most important are Lactantia and Black Diamond in Canada, Pauls and Ice Break in Australia, Blu Premium, Berna, Centrale del Latte di Roma, Lactis and Latte Sole in Italy.
